Bambu Lab AMS compatible filaments
A Bambu Lab with the AMS module is one of the most popular configurations in Poland, and not every filament suits an automatic feeder. Porima rates AMS compatibility explicitly in its official FDM data table — we simply show that information rather than making you guess.
This category contains only the materials marked as compatible: PLA, Tough PLA, Hyper PLA+, PETG, PETG Transparent, Silk PLA, PLA Premium, PLA Army, PLA Stone, ABS and PLA/CF. Deliberately absent are HT PETG, PA and PLA Wood, which the manufacturer marks as incompatible, along with ASA and flexible TPU filaments, which carry the note avoid.
One exception needs a comment: PLA/CF is AMS compatible, but carbon fibre remains highly abrasive. Compatibility with the feeder does not excuse you from fitting a hardened nozzle.
And a practical point: the AMS is not a dryer. Materials in the PLA and PETG families are dried for 2–4 h at 30–40 °C, ABS for 6–12 h at 40–60 °C — before loading them into the feeder.
The data comes from Porima's official FDM technical data table. Full listing of 25 materials: print parameters.
