ABS/CF combines every requirement of ABS with the very high abrasiveness of carbon fibre. A declared temperature resistance of 110 °C, a closed 50 °C chamber, 6–12 h of drying and a hardened nozzle — all at once. It is the most demanding composite in Porima's table.
In return you get a material that is stiff and dimensionally more stable than pure ABS. The manufacturer does, however, rate layer bonding as medium (with ABS it is good) and impact resistance as low — the fibre stiffens the part at the cost of toughness. How to print ABS/CF
A hardened nozzle and a 50 °C chamber at the same time
This is the only material in the table that requires both at once: a closed printer with a 50 °C chamber like ABS, and a wear-resistant nozzle like PLA/CF. Abrasiveness: very high. Brass is out.
Temperature 260–280 °C and an 80–110 °C bed
The lower nozzle limit is 10 °C higher than for plain ABS. Warping tendency: high. On large parts a brim is effectively mandatory, and it is better to avoid opening the door mid-print: warping.
Cooling 0–40%
Off by default. With layer bonding rated medium — the lowest in the whole ABS family — every extra percent of fan increases the risk of delamination.
Drying 6–12 h at 40–60 °C
The same as ABS. Moisture resistance: low.
Detail resolution: 0.4 mm and above
As with PLA/CF. The material is not suited to fine detail and thin walls — it is a choice for stiff, structural parts.
Bambu AMS: No
The manufacturer marks ABS/CF as incompatible with the AMS and requires a printer with an enclosure. The odour is rated strong, so ventilating the room is essential. Post-processing: easy with acetone; it dissolves in acetone just like plain ABS.

A structural composite needs a hardened nozzle and a closed printer — we say so plainly. Porima filaments are produced to a ±0.03 mm diameter tolerance, and we publish the manufacturer's full official print data — you don't have to guess it. Our warehouse is near Poznań, in Swarzędz.
